May Day Rally 2006

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) organized rally to celebrate International workers day for the 1^st time in Maldives. Some labors from custom area joined the rally wearing red t-shirts and waving national flag. Many of the people in the crowd called to join International labour Organization (ILO) and to end the dictatorship.

The crowd tries to toward Republican Square.  But Police blocked the way and the rally ended peacefully.
